SMS Presents: UZERONET at CELLspace

Subterranean Mountaintop Seaside (SMS), the DJ/VJ art duo, come together for their first headlining show in San Francisco to present UZERONET, an exploratory art performance combining elements of DJing (skratching, mixing, cutting) with audio-reactive visuals. This event will also function as an art show with both analog and digital pieces on display.

UZERONET focuses on interactions between the systems that exist within the organic and inorganic. The artists utilize their respective crafts to carve a unique niche for themselves, forcing the digital to function as a reflector of the analog.

UZERONET will be followed by an after party in the CELLspace concert venue, with a full bar, and DJs spinning until 2 AM.

ENTRY FEES - 10:00 per person - $5:00 skate rentals.
Portions of the funds raised go to support the CELLspace to keep the facility open and their programming available to the public.

Well, rainy season hasn't really started (as of Dec. 10), but the Bay Area Hoopers have once again taken over the Main Space for their Winter season hoopjams.

Hoopjams usually take place on Sunday, but there may be some Saturday jams instead.

In a gallery we’re accustomed to assuming that what we see is finished: a completed thought, a branded message, an assuredly executed product. However, what happens in the studio is often far from the conclusions usually presented to the public. There are failed experiments, unfinished sentences, inconclusive outcomes.
