What CELLspace Offers For Your Next Event CELLspace is a fully permitted place of entertainment (POE), capable of hosting events for up to 299 people until 2am Friday through Sunday (and sometimes Thursday).

Would you believe that, in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, there is a 10,000 sq. ft. facility that is fully permitted? You read that right! Not only does this venue have a large dance/performance space, but also has kitchen facilities, PA and AV system, an indoor smoking area, and lots more kickin’ extras!

That’s right, folks! So, next time you’re looking for a space, check CELLspace out!

CELLspace is a non-profit collaborative art center, which seeks to foster community development through art, performance, crosscultural collaborations, and education. And our events are just as diverse as the community we serve! Some previous line-ups include: Fog City Wrestling, IndieFest Roller Disco, City Lights Manifesto, Danza Azteca Velaciones, & Sustainable Solutions, weekly tango milongas, b-boy & b-girl battles, circus performances, film showings, world music, visual art exhibits, Quinceañeras, and much more!

The primary objective of the events department at CELLspace is to enhance and sustain the greater arts and non-profit community with affordable space to exhibit their work. Here at CELLspace, we are proactive in reaching out to and collaborating with as many Community members and groups as possible in order to encourage and build community. And as numbers go, our 2005-2006 season had over 80,000 people from throughout the greater Bay Area attend events at CELLspace.

Pricing Scale

NOTE: This is the minimum base price for renting CELLspace for a night. Minimum price is set according to your event's impact on the space and the neighborhood and is only a starting point for you to get an idea of what to expect. These prices are set at this level because this is the base income we need to generate to pay rent and bills, and keep CELLspace open for all to use and enjoy.

• Friday           $800 to $1,200
• Saturday      $1,200 to $2,000
• Sunday        $250 to $500
