MARITA SIDDAL

Marita Siddal is stoked to arrive in San Francisco after a month-long stint in Los Angeles.  She recently left her career as a business development analyst in the nation's capital so she could relocate to California, with hopes to imbue her artistic pursuits with a dash of west coast vibrance and fresh perspectives.  She works primarily in photography with forays in mixed media, often merging images with lines of poetry.  Her work examines the tensions and pleasures of female identity and urban life.

She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction and Poetry Writing through Vermont College of Fine Arts, which is a low-residency program that allows her to live wherever her whims and ambitions call her.
