Day of Public Painting....
All things converged today as Ha Ha, Meggs, and Vexta, in town for the all-Aussie Young & Free exhibit, made it down to the Mission for a day of public painting. Ha Ha painted his infamous Ned Kelly piece as well as some Geronimo portraits on the new collaborative mural that's going up (Cy Wagoner, Todd Hanson, Scott Williams, Russell Howze, and others) by the Project 2048 entrance. Meggs and Vexta dropped pieces down the block on the edge of CELLspace's muraled walls.

I’ve always been drawn to how things rise and fall. I see it in individuals, scenes, neighborhoods, and buildings. I notice the endurance and decay. I’m fascinated by the way things go in and out of balance. I weld shapes that deal with these themes. I want to show the beauty of an imperfect world. I want to show how we persevere.
