Oh boy! A mess is about to happen this Friday for Leap Day. A big  
muddy mess of roller derby queens fighting it out. Please come  
prepared for fine entertainment.

The CELLspace Milonga

WEEKLY

Every Wednesday night 9-12pm
8-9pm Beginners & Intermediate Class

$10 Class & Milonga; $5 Milonga only

The Cellspace alternative Milonga is an effort to balance out the  
wonderful classic tango events throughout SF and the Bay Area with a  
progressive community endeavor. Checkout the Project Tango DJ Resource  
page for more info on alternative dj'ing & music! We are developing a  
pool of alternative DJ's that are featured on a regular basis,  
including a DJ Duel usually held on the 4th Weds. of each month. From  
time to time we also put on special theme nights and have performances  
of various art forms (not just tango)!

This is a "politically neutral" tango event with all attempts directed  
towards minimal interruptions & maximum dance time during the evening.  
A flyer table is provided for all folks to advertise their classes &  
events, however, detailed verbal announcements will not be made. After  
a performance, a brief verbal announcement is permitted to promote a  
relavent class or event pertaining to the performers.

We are more than pleased to present this event featuring the Bay Area  
Derby Girls at the CELLspace for a Dirty, Dirty Mud wrestling  
extravaganza this Friday night.

Will there be a mess?… Yes!
Will there be a bar?…Yes!
Will there be Derby Girls?… Yes!
Will it be almost totally out of control?… Yes!
Will you be there? Yes!

Join the Bay Area Derby Girls this Friday, February 29 for some good,  
clean, wholesome mud wrestling at CELLspace in San Francisco's Mission  
District. Watch skaters from the Richmond Wrecking Belles, Oakland  
Outlaws and San Francisco ShEvil Dead get messy in a mud wrasslin'  
smackdown fundraiser to benefit the Bay Area's only all-women flat- 
track roller derby league. The $15 cover will help ensure the B.A.D.  
Girls will bout all year long. This event is for fans who are 21 years  
and older. Doors open at 7:30 p.m and the fightin starts at 9:00 p.m.

Please bring a brunch dish to share.

Talk about growing pains! CELLspace is turning 12 and in need of good  
parental guidance (from all of us). Bring in Spring and a new year for  
CELL as we all get together and say howdy-do. Along with the brunch  
spread, the CELL volunteer staff will give short report backs about  
what's new and going on around the space. There'll be time given for  
answering any questions the community has, as well as having the  
traditional birthday storytelling time.

Did I mention that there'll be a brunch going on too?

Oh, and after we clean up, Hula Hooping is ON!
