after recovering all Saturday from Friday's Raindance event and brunch  
with us for CELLspace's Year of the Rat 12th birthday (yep, your  
favorite multiuse facility is a pesky, smart rat)........

The CELLspace Milonga

WEEKLY

Every Wednesday night 9-12pm
8-9pm Beginners & Intermediate Class

$10 Class & Milonga; $5 Milonga only

The Cellspace alternative Milonga is an effort to balance out the  
wonderful classic tango events throughout SF and the Bay Area with a  
progressive community endeavor. Checkout the Project Tango DJ Resource  
page for more info on alternative dj'ing & music! We are developing a  
pool of alternative DJ's that are featured on a regular basis,  
including a DJ Duel usually held on the 4th Weds. of each month. From  
time to time we also put on special theme nights and have performances  
of various art forms (not just tango)!

This is a "politically neutral" tango event with all attempts directed  
towards minimal interruptions & maximum dance time during the evening.  
A flyer table is provided for all folks to advertise their classes &  
events, however, detailed verbal announcements will not be made. After  
a performance, a brief verbal announcement is permitted to promote a  
relavent class or event pertaining to the performers.

Super Funky Expedition

 From the twisted minds of Raindance and CELLspace we bring you an  
expedition so Funky…… Its Super Funky!

We will be exploring the deepest jungles of beats and chilling with  
the freakiest of wild beasts as we get down to the intense tribal  
thumping of the witchdoctors of the turntables.

Join us as we set out together on a safari of discovery. We will visit  
exotic places, greet groovy natives and get down with wild animals on  
the vast savannas of the dance floor.

We have gone all out to transform the cozy confines of CELLspace into  
a jungle so strange and beckoning and funkalicious you will pop on  
your pith helmet and dance you're a*s off all night long.

The community is invited to attend a birthday brunch for CELLspace
Sunday, March 16
10am-2pm
FREE
Please bring a brunch dish and/or beverage to share.
Kitchen available for cooking and preparing needs.

Talk about growing pains! CELLspace is turning 12 and in need of good  
parental guidance (from all of us). Bring in Spring and a new year for  
CELL as we all get together and say howdy-do. Along with the brunch  
spread, the CELL volunteer staff and nonprofit Board of Directors will  
give short report backs about what's new and going on around the  
space. There'll be time given for answering any questions the  
community has, as well as having the traditional birthday storytelling.

Did I mention that there'll be a brunch going on too?

Oh, and after we clean up, Hula Hooping is ON!
