It's late, so i'm just gonna bullet-point this thing. If you have any questions, you can call me (Wednesday) from 9:30-11:30 AM or after 6pm, but this is all pretty straight forward. I'm driving up from a job in Palo Alto tomorrow, so class will not start till 7:15 or 7:20 and will go for a full three hours after that (it'll end @ 10:15/20) All you need for the first class: 1. be sure to wear all 100% cotton clothing (synthetics melt when heated) Wear a long sleeved shirt and pants. Do not where a hooded sweat shirt 2. Wear closed toed shoes(no sandals or clogs), preferably leather boots, or thick leather shoes ( I generally where a pair of unusually thick cowhide Adidas skate shoes) 3. bring a welder's cap if you have one, or a bicyclist's hat or a small knit hat. These keep sparks off of your head/hair. 4. If you have long hair be sure to have a hair tie that can keep it back and close to your head. We haven't had anyone's long hair get caught in any moving parts yet, and we're gonna keep it that way. For anyone whose nervous: don't be. No one's been hurt and everyone has learned how to weld. It's fun. That's it. See you all tomorrow... -Eric Leppo From dmitrius at cellspace.org Wed Aug 1 16:49:04 2007 From: dmitrius at cellspace.org (dmitrius at cellspace.org) Date: Wed, 01 Aug 2007 16:49:04 -0400 Subject: [Welding] email from instructor Message-ID: <20070801164904.ahbniqxn2q2sckw8@mail.cellspace.org> Hey everyone, I'm your welding instructor.
